Welcome to Youth Week in NSW 2012!
Hello and Welcome to the Youth Week in NSW Website for 2012.
We're excited to announce that Youth Week for 2012 will be held from 13th April to 22nd April.
This year, hundreds of events will again be held across NSW throughout Youth Week to celebrate the positive contributions young people make to our society and providing opportunities for young people to organise their own events. So go to the Events page to find out about what events are happening in your local area!

National Youth Week Theme
This year the theme for National Youth Week is Imagine, Create, Inspire

Each year, the Youth Week in NSW Design Competition provides young and emerging artists with a great opportunity to showcase their talent and capture the 'look' and 'feel' of the National theme for Youth Week.
In January, the Hon Victor Dominello MP, the Minister responsible for Youth, announced that sixteen year old Nathan Zhen from Caringbah in Sydney won $1,000 and the opportunity to share his design skills across the state. The Minister congratulated Nathan for producing a design that is of a very high standard with an artistic ‘edginess’ that would appeal to both younger and older generations
Nathan Zhen was excited to hear of his winning entry - and of course the $1,000 in prize money! His design is used to promote Youth Week 2012 throughout the state and as the basis for the design of this website and other promotional materials.
Every year, the Design Competition is judged by the Youth Week Young Peoples Advisory Committee (YPAC). This year it was a tough decision and the YPAC says many thanks to all who submitted entries for 2012!
